For a perfect end result, a comprehensive eyelash and eye shape analysis is essential before any treatment. For this, you resort to these 5 steps.
Step 1: Choosing the right silicone pad shapes - curved or flat pads?
Here, it's important that you analyze your exact eye shape and then choose the right silicone pad shape. You then choose the size of the silicone pads when you are lying down or looking in the mirror.
Do your lashes grow straight, down or have a slight natural curl? Do you have drooping eyelids, are they prominent, or do you perhaps just have deep-set eyes? What effect do you want to achieve?
Only when you have decided on the right silicone pad shape do you move on to the next step.
Step 2: Analysis of the condition of the eyelashes, the structure and direction of the growth of the eyelashes
In this step, look at the structure of your eyelashes, the direction of eyelash growth and also the shape of your eyes. Is there any asymmetry here? How do the lashes grow on the two eyes?
Sometimes it happens that the eyelashes grow straight on one eye and slightly downwards on the other eye. Or on one and the same eye the lashes grow in different directions, for example they grow straight in the middle and down towards the outer corner.
With silicone pads you can cover up this asymmetry. For this, the right silicone pad shape is important, and which side you use to apply them at which angle. You may have to open the view more on one side than on the other.
Step 3: Correctly fix the eyelashes to correct the eye shape.
Again, take a close look at the shape of the eyes. Are the eyes round, large, do they sit close together or far away from each other? Think about how you would fix the lashes to achieve a harmonious effect. For example, you can make big eyes look smaller and small eyes look bigger. Would you rather open up the look or create a cat shape? After that, it's up to you to decide how you should fix the lashes.
Step 4: Distribute the lotions correctly on the lashes
Depending on how you distribute the lotions on the lashes, you can compensate for any asymmetries in the lashes and the shape of the eye. The structure of the lashes is also decisive here. You have already analyzed this in step 2. If you have determined an asymmetry, you must distribute the lotions differently and in no case the same on both eyes!
Step 5: Select the correct application time for the lotions.
Of course, you should know the exposure time of the lotions. But the structure of the eyelashes also determines how long the lotions should be applied. Nevertheless, it is always important to keep an eye on the lotions! Check in between whether you need to shorten or extend the exposure time.
Permanent wave lotion: 12-15 minutes (depending on the condition of the lashes)
Fixation lotion: 12 minutes (extend 2-5 minutes for thin and light lashes)
